Michal is a DevOps engineer based in the Czech Republic who started RoboVacGuide while researching a robot vacuum for his own apartment. He uses a Dreame X60 Ultra Complete (the EU-market sibling of the X60 Max Ultra Complete) at home and has seen many of the models covered here in person in electronics stores. Most comparisons on this site are built from manufacturer specifications, independent lab results (primarily Vacuum Wars) and owner reports; where he has hands-on experience with a model, the page says so. RoboVacGuide is a one-person site: he researches, writes and maintains every page himself.
Who's behind the site
RoboVacGuide is run by one person. Michal Profeld researches, writes and maintains every product page, comparison and buying guide on the site.
How the research works
Most pages are researched rather than lab-tested: Michal Profeld works from independent test data (primarily Vacuum Wars), manufacturer specifications and real-world owner reports, and says so on the page. Where he has used or handled a model himself, the page says that too.
We reference measurable data — suction power, debris pickup scores, noise levels, battery runtime — and explain what those numbers actually mean for your home. Read more about how we test.
