Robot Vacuum Comparisons

Last updated: October 2026 · 61 head-to-heads

When the shortlist is down to two robots, a ranking stops helping. These pages put two models side by side on the six things that decide a purchase: cleaning, navigation, mopping, the dock, the app and the price.

Which robot vacuum comparisons do we cover?

We cover 61 head-to-heads, each between two robots a real buyer is likely to weigh against each other: usually the same price tier from rival brands, or a step up within one brand when the question is whether the extra money buys anything. We do not write every possible pairing. A $250 robot against a $1,500 flagship answers nothing, so those matchups do not exist here. Each comparison appears below under every brand it involves, so the Dreame list includes the matchups where Dreame comes second.

How do we decide a winner?

Each comparison decides a winner in each of the six categories separately and says why in a line, and a category where neither robot has a meaningful edge is called a tie. There is no points total. A robot can win four categories and still be the wrong buy if the two it loses are the ones your home cares about, so the verdict at the end of each page is about who should buy which, not about who scored more. The evidence is the same as in our reviews: independent lab results, chiefly Vacuum Wars' standardized tests, manufacturer specifications checked against them, and first-hand use where we have it, which each page states. Our how we test page explains the method in full.

If you have not narrowed it to two yet, start with the best robot vacuums of 2026 or the full reviews index, and come back here for the final call.
